Meet Our Engineers Walter P. Thompson "I have always had a love for trains from when I was a boy, up to now!  For 41 years I worked as a stationary engineer and was always interested in steam equipment.  I also operated diesel trains for 5 years.  When Lodi Station Outlets opened, it gave me the opportunity to keep up my love for trains and working with others who also love trains.  I really appreciate the opportunity to operate top quality trains." John Kmetz "I have a collection of model trains and two of my uncles were engineers for the B & O Railroad.  I like working as an engineer at Lodi Station because this is something that has never been done before!  It's a lot of fun to meet all of the people and see the excitement in their eyes when they come and ride the trains."
